Function / Content

This series consists of a single register recording extractive mineral permits, extractive mineral leases and extractive authorities for the central region. The extractive mineral permits section is first in the register with an index listing tenement number, date of application, holder, date of determination, and previous tenure, Each entry records security, status of land, survey plan number, area, locality, registered holder, transfers, minerals, gazette details and encumbrances. Not all details are completed for all of the entries in the register. The next section is for central extractive mineral leases. The final section in the register is for central extractive authorities. All sections are laid out in a similar fashion.

One only numerically organised register divided into EMP [Extractive Mineral Permit] or EML [Extractive Mineral Lease] or EA [Extractive Authority] and C [Central] suffix.
